Viña Dos Andes
Viña Dos Andes is a member of Córpora Group. We belong to one of the oldest and largest food and beverage groups in Chile, allowing us to invest and innovate according to the market’s needs. It was founded in 1893 by Adolfo Ibáñez, when the company Tres Montes entered into operation importing and selling tea, coffee and mate herbal tea. The company has since given rise to a number of different enterprises (Tres Montes Luchetti, Aconcagua Foods, Inesa, Explora) and, at present, it is the biggest company in Chile dedicated to food and beverages. Pedro Ibáñez is part of the third generation of the Ibáñez Family, and he runs the holding. He has been distinguished for its innovative business attitude, especially in relation to environmental issues. He is recognized for creating a new concept in the production of wine and for searching for the best terroirs in the country for each variety, such as Aconcagua and Biobío. Viña Dos Andes was founded with the purpose of providing high quality Premium wines and to show the excellent and unique terroirs that lie at both sides of Andes Mountains. We do not think of wine in terms of old world or new world. By combining the best of both worlds - French winemaking expertise with unique South American climate, soil and topography - we uncover Other Worlds of wine. We are constantly exploring rare and exceptional places that produce special wines and exciting experiences. The Gracia Winery is located in the area of Totihue, 100 km to the south of Santiago in the Cachapoal Valley. It has a capacity of 9 million litres and we have 3000 barrels, most of them made from French oak. This is where all of our red wines from the central region are made and bottled, including grapes from the vineyards of Aconcagua, Maipo, Cachapoal, and Colchagua. The winery also has a solar energy system, which helps produce a 46% saving in annual gas usage.
